Day tour Petra + Wadi Rum
Places we visit: Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba.

The tour includes: Pick up and drive to the border
and back, entrances to sites + a short horse ride in Petra, a two hour jeep ride in Wadi Rum, a bottle of mineral water, lunch.
The tour does not include: Border taxes, personal expenses, and travel abroad insurance, climbing, snapling and camel riding.
Tour description: Border procedures at the Yitzhak Rabin border crossing at Arabah assisted by our representative. Meeting the Jordanian tour guide. Traveling to Petra via Wadi Yatam, driving through some enchanted landscapes. A short stop to freshen up. Two hours from the beginning of the trip we will arrive in Petra, enter the Petra nature reserve and a take a short horse ride (those who wish to do so). Petra, the Nabatean capital, is carved into the rock, and is situated in the far end of Wadi Musa. The road leading there meanders through the narrow, deep, winding and breathtaking Siq (the shaft) at the end of which the striking splendor of the burial shrine Al Khazneh (the treasury) is revealed to us. We will stop to take pictures and then arrive at our ultimate destination, the ancient and picturesque city of Petra. We will visit the theater, the façade, the Winged Lions Temple which is still under excavation and more… At noon we will have lunch at a restaurant.
Trip to Wadi Rum: Wadi Rum, situated in the southern part of Jordan, is regarded by many as one of the most beautiful desert landscapes in the world. The sandstones and granite rocks make up this vast valley, the largest in the Hashemite kingdom. Wadi Rum has also been made famous by Lawrence of Arabia, who wrote his book "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" during his stay there. (It is also the site where the film "Lawrence of Arabia" was made).
We will take a two hour jeep ride into the sunset and through the imposing landscape of the desert and the magnificent colors of the mountains, all of which are sure to be an outstanding experience for all our tourists. In the course of the jeep ride in the wadi we will make several stops at some unique sites, such as the Seven Pillars of Wisdom.
It is prohibited to carry food or beverages across the Jordanian border.
Make sure you have your passport and that it is valid for at least 3 months.
When making reservations you must fill in the following data:
- Full name in English, as spelled in your
- Passport number.
- Date of issue and date of expiry.
- Date of birth.
The tour will operate with a minimum of two travelers.
On tours going out from the beginning of October and on it is advisable to take along some warm clothes for the evening time.
